1. Introduction. The Tax CEO (operated by LBE Consulting) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Information we collect. We may collect: name, email, phone, business name and details, billing information, and the tax and financial documents you provide for a service. Payment card details are processed by our payment processor and are not stored by us. We also collect basic usage data (IP, browser, pages visited) through analytics.
3. Sensitive tax information. Documents you provide for a CEO Tax Review, including tax returns, are used solely to perform your review and deliver your findings. We do not sell this information. We handle tax return information in accordance with applicable law, including IRC §7216 restrictions on the use and disclosure of tax return information.
4. How we use your information. To provide and improve our services, communicate with you, process payments, send you materials you've subscribed to, and meet legal obligations.
5. Sharing. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (e.g., scheduling, payment, email platforms), who are bound to protect it, or where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
5a. Where your information is processed. The Tax CEO works with team members and service providers who may be located outside the United States. As a result, your personal and tax information may be accessed, processed, or stored outside the U.S. by authorized team members and providers who are bound by confidentiality obligations and who handle your information only to perform services for you. By using our services, you consent to this processing and transfer.
6. Email. If you subscribe or become a client, we may send you emails. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email.
7. Security. We use reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security. Documents are handled through secure channels.
8. Your choices. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@thetaxceo.com.
9. Children. This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
