I became a tax strategist because the system failed my own family. My dad trusted a preparer who invented deductions he wasn't entitled to and missed rules that had changed. The IRS came back for over $6,000 he never should have owed. He did nothing wrong except trust the wrong person. After that, my family stopped trusting anyone with their money.

So I became the person my family never had.

I came up through public accounting, and I've spent my career doing the work most firms don't: rebuilding the financial engines of growing companies. I've led ERP and payroll system overhauls, cut monthly closes, brought outside accounting work in-house, and built the exit plans that let owners actually retire from businesses that couldn't run without them. One of those clients came to me in 2017 for a systems overhaul, and they're still with me today.

That's the difference between having your taxes done and having a financial partner. My clients get what my own family gets: someone watching the numbers year-round, planning ahead, and making sure nothing quietly leaks away. We hold formal family board meetings twice a year, taxes always on the agenda, because that's where wealth is won or lost when nobody's paying attention.
